Hello, i’m luisa

From being in the darkroom (chemicals) to being in lightroom (computer), my photography style varies but I think that’s the beauty of it. I take pride in my versatility as an artist because we live in a multifaceted world.

I graduated during the pandemic in May 2020 from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Advertising. It was a weird time to graduate but during this time I realized I wanted to pursue a career in both photography & marketing.

This aspiration led to working for Ashlee Huff as a photo assistant where I gained an abundance of skills, opportunities, & experience. We worked with clients such as Bobby Berk, Target, Paradigm Eyewear, & Mod & Jo. I also began working for Springer, a start-up for smart essentials for dogs, where my experience in as a marketing coordinator, social media manager & branded community activations grew beyond photography.

Today, I have the privilege of working as a freelance photographer with some amazing brands, models, spaces, & creatives such as Desnudo Coffee, Brooklyn Bandit, Armonía, & Lander Line. This allowed me to travel this past summer (2023) for 3 months around Europe to continue building my portfolio.
